REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - August 22, 2006 - Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced that best-selling fantasy author R.A. Salvatore will keynote the Dark Age of Camelot® Roundtable Fan Gathering this September. Salvatore's books have sold more than fifteen million copies and include the beloved series The Hunter's Blades Trilogy, Icewind Dale Trilogy, and The Dark Elf Trilogy. The Roundtable Fan Gathering will take place at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 29th and 30th.

 

R.A. Salvatore is one of the fantasy genre's most beloved and successful authors, and has attracted a tremendously loyal following through iconic characters such as the dark elf Drizzt Do'Urden. Salvatore's most recent original hardcover, The Promise of the Witch-King, Book II of The Sellsword Series, debuted on The New York Times best-seller list. At the Roundtable, Salvatore will speak about how he got started writing, his experiences with computer gaming and projects he is currently working on.
