South Korea Begins Open Beta Testing of

Dark Age of Camelot^TM

FAIRFAX, VA – JULY 25, 2002 – Mythic Entertainment (www.mythicentertainment.com), creator of the award winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Dark Age of CamelotÔ, in conjunction with Buff Entertainment, today announced that the game has successfully begun open beta testing in South Korea.  Dark Age of Camelot, the fastest selling pay-for-play MMORPG in the history of online gaming, is developed by Mythic Entertainment and co-published with Abandon Entertainment (www.abandonent.com).

Open beta testing, utilizing Korean language servers, will continue until the highly anticipated launch.  Buff Entertainment will handle the marketing and distribution of Dark Age of Camelot as well as all online hosting and community management. Dark Age of Camelot will be fully translated into Korean, and customer support as well as community management will be handled in Korean to ensure the best support and quality of service.

 

Dark Age of Camelot was recently recognized with multiple Online Game of the Year awards. The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences presented the game with the Massive Multiplayer/Persistent World Game of the Year.
